Event Summary:

About this event

In connection with our ongoing discussions with Animal Care and Control (ACC) and the Lexington Humane Society (LHS), our analysis of the greatest community need for our program’s services lies within three mobile home parks. For this effort, we will canvas these areas, talking with the residents about community cat colony care and TNR. We will meet with ACC and LHS to keep them apprised of our work and LHS will provide some food in support of these colonies. We will trap on October 28th in an effort to TNR as many cats as possible in the identified mobile home parks. We will have the spay/neuter clinic for the trapped cats on October 29th. We hope to trap 50-60 cats with this kick-off effort but we estimate there are at least 225 cats that need spay/neuter.
