National Feral Cat Day in Support of Second Chance Pet Rescue and The Cat’s Pajama’s Sanctuary

Food, Supply and Financial Drive – Come learn about TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release).
Second Chance Pet Rescue of Coeur d’Alene is a group dedicated to spaying and neutering of pets, animal rescue and assisting local communities and residents in the process of Trap-Neuter-Release of feral cats. Support National Feral Cat Day and find out more about TNR and why it is the most effective and humane way of dealing with free roaming cats.

We will greet people outside or inside Petco (Petco is fully supporting our event) and hand out informational material regarding feral cats and TNR. We will answer questions about feral cats, TNR, Second Chance Pet Rescue and The Cat’s Pajamas Cat Sanctuary.  We will have different types of traps to show/demonstrate and will show Alley Cat Allies video on a laptop.  Posters will be at each register inside Petco and we hope people will offer food, cat supplies or money to help care for all the wonderful cats currently in our care and those to come.
